On the 11th day of the 11th month of 2023, Ghana Health Partners from around the world made their way to Ghana.
Along the way, we paused to remember. As Josh read the Exhortation of the Act of Remembrance and we fell silent, there was and continues to be, much to reflect upon. “What happened to ‘Never Again,’ someone wondered aloud.
While November 11th is not about us, my heart tells me that when 31 individuals choose to act based on values of service, respect, partnership, and cooperation, we honour the sacrifice of those we remember in a tangible way. And as we watch world events unfold, our response is to join hands in partnership with our Ghanaian colleagues to better humanity— not to destroy it.

So happy to see you have arrived safely. Prayers were said for you in Church yesterday and I will be continuing those prayers. Sending love to you all. I was going to do a special shout-out but you are all special to me so the list would go on for too long. I will say a hello to the Eye team and wish I was there with you.
Love Jane
