Today several of our construction team were working up high in the rafters finishing the framing for the roof to ready it for the tin to be installed tomorrow. The interior walls were being parged, and tomorrow our team will start to work on the latrine.
Teachers were back to the classrooms reestablishing any routines that they had put into place last week. We were all surprised when a young lady came across the Black Volta by canoe with a gift of yams and dried fish from her father, a parishioner from Yaara who heard we were there.
Phil and Glenn returned late tonight due to the fact the dozer track chain failed once again after a couple hours running, and it took until after 7 tonight to get it running once again. New chains will arrive tonight, but will require a full day to install, so please pray that this last repair will hold so that Glenn can run these last days.
After dinner, the teachers gathered to continue organizing the play day we are having on Friday, and we hope to have some of the Babator ladies help us that day. We are hoping that this will be the opportunity to develop a relationship with them as we haven’t had a real chance to up until now.
Your comments and posts are REALLY appreciated. Please continue to pray for good health, workplace and commuting safety; that the equipment will run well; and that more than anything, we leave behind a beautiful lasting impression of Jesus’ love and provision.
Finishing well,
Kim

Hi Kim
It is so encouraging and thrilling to read your updates each day. I can tell you that your snow is being removed from driveway at house and shop. (inside information – hehe – TJE.) As someone mentioned in comments. I had wondered what God wanted Glenn to learn with the breakdowns of the crawler tracks. We had a crawler with these tracks when I was a kid and it was interesting when they broke. Anyway. I am sure God has many things in mind for this Ghana mission (oh man, I just lost half of what I wrote.) in the hearts of all of the team members and the hearts of the Ghanaians with whom your hands, feet, and arms have touched and will continue to touch as you finish up this week. It is exciting to hear that the church is just about to the roof stage.
May God continue to bless each of your hands, arms, feet, minds, mouths and health as you finish up this day and prepare for the rest of the project. I get really excited thinking of what God is doing in this area and it makes it more vivid when I can visualize where you are and what you are doing. Oh and that reminds me. Has there been any photos sent back here of progress and I just don’t know where to look????? hint, hint.
my Love to you all and especially Aaron, Amy, Anees, Jacqueline, Joe and Kim. (my bunch).

It is AWESOME to read every day of the progress of our team. We are envisioning the structure of church and at this point, not so much of the Latrine. As I recall upon completion of the Latrine a certain someone is going ” break” it in. All joking a side, thank you for being the Hands and Feet of Jesus.
This morning here in at home it is bitterly cold but the ‘SON’ is shining. It is my prayer that this same Son will shine in Carpenter today and fill the hearts of our team there and overflow into the hearts of local people in Carpenter.
Andy – Lana and I will think of you later this afternoon as we travel to Toronto as we watch the the Leafs play the Tampa Bay Lightning. As a tradition Andy, we will force down a sausage before the game, but it will not be the same lol.
All kidding aside, be a blessing and be prepared to be blessed. Andy continue to hear the ‘call’ and surrender to His will – the possibilities are endless.

Keep up the good work! This is the final push…. Give it all you’ve got. We are digging out from another weekend of snow and blowing, still experiencing the deep freeze. Soak all of that heat deep into your bones and bring it home!! Stay positive.. We miss you.

Love hearing about your day as I get ready to go to sleep each night. Even though many miles may separate us, it keeps us close. So thrilled to hear that all is well and that the dozer crew continue to learn more patience. May God bless each and every one of you as you continue to bless others with your efforts and, remember no action goes unseen. Stay cool thinking about our -40 weather here in Sudbury. 🙂

Greetings from beautiful snowy Claremont. Wish we could exchange some of our cool air for some of your heat! Praying for continued strength and energy for all of the team, and for God’s hand upon you and the local people you are working with. Thank you for your updates, Kim, they are truly appreciated.

Blessings for the bulldozer!
Prayers for your commuting safety.
-22 in Toronto feels like -32 as we have wind too, soak up all the heat you can. CAA had 4500 calls today just in Toronto.
Enjoy the Friday programme. Pray that you have the courage to leave and come home, we miss you all.

IA blessing about destiny & calling
In every project you undertake in the service of God’s house of worship and in obedience to the law and the commands, may you seek your God and work wholeheartedly. And so may you be very successful. (2Chr 31:21 NLT)
Thought this blessing was appropriate for your work.
Will continue to pray for the bulldozer.
Have a great day Friday.
It will be so much fun. I have worked with youth and kids all my ministry life. Love planning fun days.
Wish I could send you tons of balloons for water balloons. Lol
Hugs and kisses to my sister Doris and Pat.
