The 2013 Ghana Health Team is ready to go! Barring any delays due to Ontario’s weather, the team plans to fly out of Toronto this evening.
This is an amazing team of volunteers. To give you a sense of the breadth of skills and depth of experience that they represent, we’ve shared a list of team members and their current professional roles.
Please pray for the team as they travel. We want them to arrive safely, in good health, and with the energy that they’ll need for the many patients waiting for them.
We will post updates from the team here. If you would like to subscribe to receive these updates by email, please complete the subscription form. (If you’re receiving this by email, then congratulations! You’re already subscribed, and you can expect to hear from us soon as we receive news from the team.)

This is great! I am praying for their safe arrival. This year, I am volunteering to be a translator for the medical team when they get here in Ghana. It’s such a privilege for me and my wife to be on the translators team this year in support of such a laudable initiative. Can’t wait to get to know the team from the UK and Canada– such a diversified background. I’m convinced the good Lord will be with them as they make such life changing sacrifices.
