The four vehicle convoy carrying the entire Health Team and more than 150 pieces of luggage arrived in Carpenter at 6:30pm after a long eleven hour drive from Accra.
The greetings of old and new friends and unloading of the luggage was just completed when the skies opened up with torrential rain that sent everyone looking for cover. By the time things subsided enough to get to the dinning hall, the unpacking and set-up was well on its way. We have now mostly shut down for the night and plan to get an early start in the morning.
We are thankful to God for many answered prayers and especially: the safe and healthy arrival of everyone; the arrival of every single piece of luggage all the way to Carpenter; the good teamwork and camaraderie already on display as we set up for the first clinic tomorrow.

Hello there Teresa. I am sure by now everyone on your trip is aware that they have a comedian on board. Keep them laughing …. it is the best medicine, next to all what your team is doing of course. With love, Linda Szczur
