30 years ago, Dr. David and Brenda Mensah left Canada with their three young children to start work in Ghana. Their dream was to see the people and communities they served become strong, independent, and self-sustaining.
In celebration of their 30-year journey, we are launching the 30:30 campaign.
From to the end of this year, we are inviting 30 WALK PARTNERS to join us as we continue the Mensah’s journey.
SUSTAINABILITY is part of our DNA and has been at the heart of all our poverty alleviation work.
SUSTAINABILITY OF PROGRAM RESULTS FOR INDIVIDUALS
Families will continue to independently benefit from programs and activities without ongoing assistance
SUSTAINABILITY FOR COMMUNITIES
Long-term conservation of environmental resources and leadership development to encourage growth
SUSTAINABILITY OF NEA
Maintaining core programs while reducing reliance on outside funds
THESE GOALS ARE BEING ACHIEVED.
Now we invite you to join us in BUILDING SUSTAINABILITY through a fund that allows us to help individuals, families and communities become self-sufficient.
BECOME A WALK PARTNER!
WALK PARTNERS is a community of passionate impact makers who partner with us, month after month, in helping the 150K+ people that we are currently serving become self-sufficient. WALK PARTNERS understand it takes time to build relationships that allow for real change in individuals and communities.
A two-year commitment to training and support means one woman can become a self-sufficient farmer.
Years of dialogue and training in relationships of trust allow leaders to resolve conflicts without resorting to violence.
WALK PARTNERS are committed to WALK TOGETHER with us to achieve these goals.
Will YOU WALK with us?
