GRID and NEA host specialized volunteer teams at our project site in Carpenter. These teams come alongside of our staff to offer important service in program-related areas.
Annual Medical Team
Our annual medical team is a great example of a specialized team. In November of each year, about 40 medical professionals provide critical health care to thousands of patients. The team works closely with NEA staff and local health professionals. It’s an exciting, exhausting two weeks for everyone. You can learn more about this team or contact our team leader online.
Construction Teams
We also have been blessed to have teams visit our site to assist in building or other related projects. These custom teams usually come about as a result of a long-term relationship that we have with a group of people.
